Dr. Van Dyck comes from a multi-generational chiropractic family — his father and uncle are both Palmer Chiropractic College graduates.

He graduated with honors from Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles, finishing at the top of his class. He is also a 20-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

His specialties include sports performance for professional athletes, prenatal/infant through adult care, motor vehicle accident recovery, complex chronic cases, disc injuries, headaches, and work-related injuries.

Dr. Shahbazian specializes in sports and whiplash injury rehabilitation, scoliosis, postural corrective care, neuromusculoskeletal conditions, pediatric chiropractic, and Webster Technique for pregnancy. He also has experience providing chiropractic care for active families, young athletes, pediatric patients, and pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions, including Webster Technique care for expecting mothers.

Dr. Shahbazian currently serves as an active Team Doctor for Los Angeles Football Club, working alongside elite athletes and performance staff to support injury recovery, movement optimization, rehabilitation, and high-level athletic performance. His experience in professional sports care helps bring a performance-driven and results-focused approach to patient treatment at Flintridge Family Chiropractic.

He has also served as Associated Faculty at Southern California University of Health Sciences since 2015, helping educate and mentor future chiropractors in clinical evaluation, rehabilitation, spinal biomechanics, and patient-centered care.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Shahbazian has volunteered chiropractic services through the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Administration and the Venice Family Clinic, helping provide conservative musculoskeletal care to underserved communities.

Dr. Rion Zimmerman founded Flintridge Family Chiropractic in 2005 with a mission to bring world-class sports and wellness chiropractic to the Foothills.

He serves as Team Chiropractor for the US Women's National Soccer Team (since 2014) — supporting the squad through the 2024 Paris Olympic Gold Medal, the 2019 Women's World Cup victory in France, and the 2022 CONCACAF Championship.

Dr. Zimmerman is also Team Chiropractor for LAFC (since 2019), and previously served the LA Galaxy from 2013–2021, including their 2014 MLS Cup win. He has been the chiropractor for Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu since 2005.

He holds a Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic (2005) and a B.S. in Political Science from UC Irvine, where he played varsity soccer and completed a sports medicine internship.
